The Frenchman picked up a hamstring strain in Week 5’s match at Athletic Bilbao and has had to sit out the Costa del Sol’s eight subsequent fixtures in all competitions.
However, back training with his colleagues now, the veteran has been named in Manuel Pellegrini’s 20-man squad to travel out to Milan this week.
Malaga could qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League with a result at San Siro on Tuesday evening.
