Brazilian star Neymar says that to play and train alongside Lionel Messi would be a dream.
The 20-year-old was responding to a question during a Press conference, when he was asked if he had ever considered the possibility of the Barcelona star joining Santos when his playing stint in Europe was over.
“Playing alongside him…imagine him training here. It would be a dream and I would be very happy,” said Neymar, who also commented on the race for the Ballon d’Or.
“It is very difficult to be included in the top three as there are several players I consider stars, but in my opinion Messi is the best in the world and Cristiano Ronaldo is very close to him.”
Neymar went on to say that it had been a good year for him both at club and international level, while showing his appreciation for Messi’s recent remarks praising him.
“I didn’t know how to thank the best in my profession. I just don’t know how to thank him,” he added.
