Real Valladolid boss Miroslav Djukic has praised his players after they defeated Real Betis 1-0 in the Copa del Rey.
An Alberto Bueno goal was enough to give the Pucela a slender first-leg lead, and the Serbian Coach has congratulated his men after playing the last 25 minutes with 10 men.
“The result is very good,” he told a Press conference. “I'm especially pleased with how the team competed. We didn't play beautiful football but it was very practical, very competitive.
“The players worked extremely hard, closed Betis down well, and our defence did an amazing job.”
“The team grew into the game after the sending off. Some of the lads have really taken their opportunity tonight.”
