Isco’s long-term future at Malaga looks likely to be secured in the coming days, thanks to Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani’s presence at the club.
The owner has recently come back into the picture and has declared that investment will return to the team in a month that he is also due to pay a further instalment on money owed to the players.
These are events that Marca report also have accelerated the club’s attempts to sign Isco to a new contract.
Talks have been ongoing for a number of weeks and it is understood that the youngster, who has impressed this season, will put pen to paper as soon as the next few days.
Isco will reportedly see an increase in his annual wage from €400,000 to €1.5m, an extension of his contract by two years to take him up to June 2018 and a rise in his buyout clause from €21m to €40m.
