Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has conceded he felt under pressure to perform against Academica in the Europa League.
Diego Simeone's men defeated the Portuguese side 2-1 at Vicente Calderon, with the 24-year-old scoring a close-ranger effort just after half-time.
But the former Braga forward has admitted that he may struggle to get in the starting XI ahead of Radamel Falcao, even after scoring.
“You have to take the minutes you're given at this club,” he told AS after the game. “Because the players above me are pretty good.”
He also commented on the Europa League so far, and Simeone's instructions before the match.
“The Coach asked us to go and win tonight,” he said. “We did that, and with half the games gone, we're in a good position.”
