Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho isn't flustered by the Borussia Dortmund defeat – but is impressed with the German fans.

Real suffered their first Champions League loss since the first leg of last season's semi-final, also in Germany against Bayern Munich, at the Signal Iduna Park tonight.

But in his post match Press conference Mourinho stressed that defeat to high calibre opposition such as Dortmund was not worth sensationalising.

“We lost a game, but it isn't dramatic. We are in a serious group, it's no joke. We aren't satisfied, but we're still second.”

The 'Group of death' is already beginning to look like a two horse race with Ajax having collected three points and Manchester City, shockingly, sat on one.

“We have two games at home,” Mou continued. “And it is within our reach to get the points needed to reach the second round.

“The public here support their team in a very polite and calm manner, without any added aggression. We like to play in an environment like this.”

The injury hit Merengues were forced to play midfielder Michael Essien at left back and mistakes were made at both Dortmund goals.

“I said in the press conference before Celta Vigo that the bill for the injuries had not yet been paid. I won't comment on who is blame.”
