Real Zaragoza defender Ivan Obradovic says his injury has made him question his professionalism, after being ruled out for six months.
The fullback has been out of action since the opening day of the season, and has travelled to Augsburg, Germany for treatment on two separate knee injuries.
“On Monday, I expect to undergo the operation in Augsburg,” he told Serbian newspaper Novosti. “I'll stay for several days in the hospital then begin rehabilitation.”
Frustration regarding the injury has caused Obradovic to look inward for answers.
“I may have done something wrong, perhaps not been professional enough. I don't know really. It's difficult, but with the help of the people coming to support me, not so serious.”
The Serbian international made 17 La Liga appearances for Los Blanquillos last season.
