No Malaga rotation v Valladolid

Malaga will not rotate their squad against Real Valladolid with the Milan game in mind, Coach Manuel Pellegrini insists.

The Andalusians face another massive Champions League game against Italian giants Milan next Wednesday but Pellegrini is determined to keep his players focus on tomorrow afternoon's game at La Rosaleda.

“There is no rotation,” the former Villarreal boss told journalists today.”Lets put out the team we believe is best for playing, as Valladolid is the most important game for us.”

Malaga lost to Atletico Madrid last time out are still in a very promising position, third with 14 points.

“Nothing can distract us. We have four days to think about the other game, and Valladolid are a team that will make us work very hard.

“We must protect our defence, because Valladolid have the ball a great deal. They won their first two matches, so the sides are balanced.”

Pellegrini is without first-choice leftback Nacho Monreal but winger Eliseu will deputise.

“I hope to have Monreal for Wednesday. Eliseu can play in that position, he is fluent, last year he played there and we conceded less goals when he did.”
