Real Zaragoza defender Ivan Obradovic is to undergo surgery to address a cruciate ligament issue in his knee.
The Serbian had a MRI scan at a hospital in Zaragoza last week, but travelled to Augsburg to get a second opinion from the specialist Dr Boenisch.
There he was diagnosed both with a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, and a sprain of the medial collateral ligament, in his left knee.
Obradovic has made just one appearance for Manolo Jimenez's side this season, on the opening day against Real Valladolid.
