Manchester City have released a statement today denying that they are interested in signing Sergio Busquets or Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.
The duo have been linked in recent days with a switch to Eastlands, but the Premier League champions have looked to end such reports today.
“There is no foundation whatsoever regarding the reports City approached Cesc Fabregas, Sergio Busquets, or Barcelona regarding a transfer,” read the statement.
“We did not make nor plan to make an offer for Sergio Busquets or Cesc Fabregas.”
