Real Zaragoza boss Manolo Jimenez has insisted he is proud of his players after their 1-0 home loss to Getafe.
A Diego Castro penalty was enough to see the Azulones claim all three points, but the 48-year-old Coach has maintained that he was impressed by his squad's fight and determination even in defeat.
“I am proud of my players because they fought to try and win,” he told AS. “Despite fatigue, they never stopped trying and giving it their all.
“All my players are exhausted, but the harsh reality is that we didn't win. The atmosphere in the dressing room is anger, but we cannot go crazy at this stage in the season.”
