Carles Puyol, Andres Iniesta and Adriano have all been given a clean bill of health and are set to return to Barcelona’s team this week.
Adriano was forced to miss this week’s trip to Sevilla after picking up a muscle injury last week at home to Granada, whilst Puyol has been out since aggravating his knee ligaments at Getafe.
However, both have been discharged by the medical staff at the club and have taken part in a full workout today, alongside Iniesta.
The No 8 has been out since mid-September when he injured his thigh playing for Spain, but back in full training before the weekend, he is now included alongside Puyol and Adriano in Tito Vilanova’s 21-man squad for midweek and the Champions League trip to play Benfica on Tuesday.
Also selected for the game are B team trio Cristian Tello, Sergi Roberto and Oier Olazabal.
