Galatasaray have confirmed that they intend to make a move for Real Madrid’s Ricky Kaka in the winter transfer market, on one condition.
The Turkish side are currently competing in the group stages of the Champions League and have communicated, through their chairman Unal Aysal, that if they manage to progress to the knockout phases, then they will be happy to make a move for Kaka.
The Brazilian has yet to appear for Real Madrid this season after a reported falling out with Jose Mourinho and is strongly linked with a move in January, having failed to complete one to Milan in the summer.
“If we progress to the next round of the Champions League, we will try to put the icing on the cake,” Aysal told Turkish outfit Le10sport.
“Kaka could join us, but I cannot guarantee it. He could integrate well into the team. I’d like to see him in the Galatasaray shirt.”
