Arsenal appear to be the new front runners in the race to sign Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.
The Spanish international centre forward was heavily linked with Tottenham and Juventus amongst others this summer and was frozen out of the Bilbao squad for confessing his desire to leave.
Since the transfer window closed he has been reintegrated into Marcelo Bielsa's side but AS have today published a list of Spanish players wanted by foreign clubs in January, and 'The Lion King' is at the top.
Arsenal could be on the market for a new centre forward if new signing Olivier Giroud doesn't find his form soon.
Also listed are Llorente's Bilbao teammate Oscar De Marcos, Malaga's Isco and Atletico Madrid's Arda Turan, linked with Spurs, Manchester United and Schalke respectively.
Barcelona are said to be considering Valencia's Vicente Guaita as a new sub keeper in place of Jose Pinto.
