Jordi Alba returns to Barca training

Jordi Alba returned to training with Barcelona on Thursday after missing the last two games against Getafe and Spartak Moscow.

The Spanish international has been suffering from a bout of flu that caused him to be hospitalised and treated with antibiotics.

However, he is now expected to be available for Saturday’s game with Granada at the Camp Nou after attending today’s session, which was the usual warm down for the players who took part against Spartak on Wednesday and preparation for this weekend.

In addition to players from the first team – depleted by the absence of Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta, Marc Muniesa, Eric Abidal and Isaac Cuenca – Cristian Tello, Sergi Roberto, Miguel Banuz and Carles Planas also took part.
