Real Madrid director of relations Emilio Butragueno has praised the club's 3-2 Champions League win over Manchester City.
The 49-year-old legendary striker echoed the words of Coach Jose Mourinho, as well as congratulating the players on their never-say-die attitude.
“The game showed the values of Real Madrid,” he told AS. “Maximum effort, a great mentality and respect for the opponent.
“It was a great success. It shows why Real Madrid is such a prestigious club in world football.”
Butragueno was speaking at a club exhibition, where the team's nine European Cup trophies were presented to fans and members of the press.
