Geoffrey Kondogbia declares that whilst he is struggling with the language and still slightly with an injury, he is ready to debut for Sevilla against Real Madrid.
Los Merengues visit the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan this weekend and highly-rated €4m summer signing Kondogbia believes he can make an appearance if called upon.
“I’m mentally prepared to debut at the weekend, even if I have not had enough practice with my teammates,” the 19-year-old midfielder declared at today’s Press conference, in reference to a knee injury sustained over the summer.
“It would be special to debut against Real Madrid, it would be the first time I would face these great players. I’m ready to play, but I’d rather still be without this injury.
“Real are a very good team, with Ozil, Ronaldo, Benzema and Di Maria, but you have to watch out for the whole team, not focusing just on any one player in particular, but the whole team.”
