Karim Benzema is struggling to understand why his Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is sad, saying he hasn’t seen that side to him.
The No 9, who is on international duty with France this week, was asked about his views on Ronaldo’s comments from last Sunday.
“I do not know why Ronaldo is in a bad mood,” he told reporters today. “I really haven’t followed the story as I have been with the national team, but I have not seen him sad.
“When we meet again on Wednesday we will all talk and together we will help him to move ahead.
“He’s a great player, he has it all, is physically fit, looks good, has money, success and is one of the best players in the world.
“I don’t know what more he could want, so for him to be sad is sacrilege.”
