Malaga defender Sergio Sanchez has claimed that the four new signings made by the club over the summer have settled in well.
Javier Saviola, Roque Santa Cruz, Miguel Iturra and Oguchi Onyewu all joined the southern club during pre-season, and the 26-year-old has praised the impact three of them have made in training.
“Roque has not trained yet,” he told AS. “But the others are fine. They all seem like very normal people, and have adapted well. It is quite easy to adapt to a group like ours, but their careers speak for themselves.”
The former Espanyol man also commented on the atmosphere in the city following their qualification to the Champions League, as well as his current fitness.
“It is nice to go outside and see that all of Malaga is with the team. When you don't have that support is just adds more pressure.
“I feel 100%. I am just looking forward starting in the Champions League and seeing what happens.”
