Usain Bolt has called Cristiano Ronaldo 'the best player in the world', saying he prefers the Real Madrid man to Lionel Messi.
The Jamaican, who recently won three gold medals at the London 2012 Olympic games, has called the Portuguese forward a more complete player than the Argentine international, and also claims he deserves to win the Balon d'Or.
Bolt also attributes himself as part of the 27-year-old's success, saying it was him who taught the winger how to improve his top speed whilst at Manchester United.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world,” he told AS. “I think this year he deserves to win the Balon d'Or.”
