Radamel Falcao has reflected that he is aware of his current form for Atletico Madrid and intends to transfer it to his national team.
The 26-year-old scored consecutive hat-tricks for the Spanish club last week and is currently preparing with his national team for World Cup qualifying clashes with Uruguay and Chile.
“I am very happy, I am conscious of the footballing moment I am experiencing right now. The sporting achievements are important,” reflected the forward, who has won the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup with Atleti in recent months.
“Now it is time for each of us [with Colombia] to try our best to achieve victories in these upcoming games.
“We all have the ambition to win and we are working towards that, hopefully we can all pass on what we do with our clubs to the national team and do our best for Colombia to add three more points to the board.
“But, we are a team, not just Falcao. I have to make things clear, we play as XI and not just as me. However, I will try to be as relaxed as possible and give my best to the team.”
