Barcelona Coach Tito Vilanova has named his squad to face Valencia on Sunday night, with Carles Puyol and Dani Alves returning from injury.
Catalan Puyol fractured his right cheekbone in Barcelona’s narrow victory against Osasuna last weekend and although back in training by Wednesday, was uninvolved for the midweek Super Cup clash with Real Madrid.
Alves, meanwhile, pulled up during the warm-up in that game at the Bernabeu with a strain to a muscle in his left leg.
Thiago Alcantara is also included, having been given a clear bill of health from the medical staff after a thigh injury suffered this summer.
