Levante inflicted a third consecutive League defeat on Espanyol this evening, after coming from two goals down.
The Catalan visitors took a two-goal lead going in at the break, thanks to goals from debutant Samuele Longo and Tejera.
However, a second-half fight-back from Levante ensued, with Juanlu and Lell pulling the home side level.
Despite then going down to 10 men as Vicente Iborra picked up a second yellow, Levante won the game in stoppages, when Espanyol’s Raul Rodriguez turned the ball into his own net.
