‘No-one’s talking about Malaga game’

Real Zaragoza Coach Manolo Jimenez is concerned that not enough attention is being placed on Malaga’s visit this weekend.

Zaragoza welcome the Anchovies to La Romareda this Saturday, but with the Champions League and Europa League draws and the final day of the transfer window this week, Jimenez is concerned that the importance of the weekend is being forgotten.

“I worry that no-one is talking about the match, because it is very important,” stated the tactician to today’s Press conference.

“They are a Champions League team who have serious problems at a corporate level, but are a great team with a very good project and still with important players.

“They are currently playing by memory, but having now qualified for the Champions League and based on their League standing, they are attracting players like [Javier] Saviola and [Roque] Santa Cruz.

“To beat Malaga would only be a step in a championship that demands consistency that must be maintained, but we have to be ambitious and take things game by game.”
