Radamel Falcao says he foresaw scoring today’s hat-trick against Chelsea, but conversely admits that “I don’t know what will happen tomorrow in my life.”
The Colombian netted a quick-fire first-half treble to stun Champions League holders Chelsea in Monaco on Friday night to help his side to a 4-1 win to win the UEFA Super Cup.
After the game, he enthused that it was something he had previously envisaged, before leaving a slight hint about his long-term future at the club.
“I dreamed of scoring three goals and I had that opportunity,” the 26-year-old enthused post-match.
“I’m extremely happy. We were very good, we had to start with intensity and effectively, and we did that.
“This is very important and we want to keep going. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow in my life, but this is a very passionate team we are working on an international level.”
