Depor in Klasnic talks

Deportivo de La Coruna have acknowledged they are locked in talks to bring striker Ivan Klasnic to Riazor, reports La Voz de Galicia.

The 32-year-old Croatian international has spent the past three years with Bolton Wanderers after initially joining the club on loan from Nantes, and Depor admit they are looking for another forward after their failed attempt to sign Cristian Stuani.

Boss Jose Luis Oltra is seeking a third man to accompany Riki and Oliveira in attack and has turned to the experienced Klasnic, who has also played in Germany with St. Pauli and Werder Bremen.

Oltra is also looking to strengthen his defence and is expected to tie up a deal for Rio Aves right-back Tiago Pinto, according to A Bola.

The 24-year-old is the son of former Portuguese international Joao Pinto and is represented by Jorge Mendes, who has placed a number of other players with Depor over the summer.
