Atletico Madrid President Enrique Cerezo was blunt when talking about Radamel Falcao at half-time in the European Super Cup.
Cerezo had just seen the Colombian hitman put Chelsea to the sword with a first-half hat-trick in Monaco, with Atleti racing into a 3-0 lead at the break, and he had a message for any potential suitors casting their eyes towards his star striker.
“Falcao does not want to leave and nobody has the money to pay for him,” Cerezo was quoted as saying by AS.
“Speaking of money for Falcao is stupid because first you have to have it in order to pay it.
“Right now he is the best striker in the world and he belongs to Atletico Madrid.”
