Borussia boss warns Real Madrid

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has warned his team will be Real Madrid’s most ‘disagreeable’ opponents in the Champions League.

The Bundesliga outfit have been drawn alongside Madrid, Manchester City and Ajax in the so-called Group of Death and Klopp pulled no punches in his assessment of his team’s rivals.

“This group produces only joy. Naturally Real Madrid and Manchester City move in different circles to Dortmund, but that won’t stop us.

“I don’t feel that to compete with them you need to have the most beautiful, biggest or most expensive players, so we want to turn ourselves into their most disagreeable opponents,” Klopp told a Press conference.

Borussia captain Sebastian Kehl, on the other hand, called it a ‘group of madness’ and confessed he would have preferred to have been given an easier task.

“Naturally it will be a wonderful experience to play at the Santiago Bernabeu or in England.

“But to be honest, I would have liked to have been drawn in an easier group,” admitted Kehl.
