Radamel Falcao says he is looking forward to playing against Chelsea in the European Super Cup clash in Monaco this week.
The Atletico Madrid striker was in devastating form as his hat-trick put paid to Athletic Bilbao at the Vicente Calderon, his team running out easy 4-0 victors over the Basques who are now winless from their opening two fixtures.
“We played well and are happy. Now we have to go and win the Supercup on Friday,” commented the Colombian hitman at a Press conference.
“I am extremely satisfied with how things turned out but, above all, with how the team played after such an overwhelming victory.”
Asked about his future at the club, with rumours over the summer that he could be set for a big-money move to one of Europe’s superpowers, Falcao insisted he was going nowhere and remained committed to Los Rojiblancos.
“I’ve always said that I am happy at Atletico. Now I want to score more goals than I did last season,” he said.
