Reyes out for three weeks

Jose Antonio Reyes has been ruled out of action for three weeks after spraining his shoulder against Granada.

The attacking winger was substituted before half-time during Sunday evening’s match to make way for Andres Palop, after Diego Lopez had been sent off.

However, the 28-year-old had also sustained an injury in a previous passage of play and tests carried out today have confirmed that he sprained the shoulder joint and will need between two and three weeks out of action to recover.

Meanwhile, Alberto Botia, who also suffered a bruised hip at Los Carmenes, has been passed fit to return to full training already.
