Pedro Rodriguez admits Barcelona were made to work for today’s win by Osasuna, even if he never doubted it would come.
“It was a tough game, it always takes a lot to win here, in this field. Osasuna are a team that presses you a lot, with a very high defence, it was very tricky.
“It was a hard-fought victory and the reason we are happy, above all else is, because we won, we continue to progress.”
Despite the effort required, the attacker suggested that achieving the win was never in doubt, as far as he was concerned.
“We always had faith that we could come back into the game as we have the players to do it. We were also unlucky not to score in the first half, whilst the goals did arrive in the second. Both from Leo Messi, who was very strong.
“This start to the season has given us confidence for the rest of the season. the team is good, with a good tone. Personally, I’m doing well, so I can also help the team more.”
