Reports in England suggest that Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin has completed his loan move to Arsenal.
The north London club had earmarked the former Borussia Dortmund man as the ideal replacement for Alex Song, after the Cameroon international signed for Barcelona earlier this week.
According to the Daily Mail, the move for the Turkey international has now been completed and comprises of an initial one-year loan deal, then a €17m option to buy the 23-year-old outright.
Sahin moved from the Bundesliga champions to Santiago Bernabeu last summer, but has failed to impress for Jose Mourinho's side and played just four league games during 2011-12.
At today's Press conference Mourinho did not give any indication that Sahin’s move had been completed, but did reiterate that he is set for the Premier League.
