The first Clasico encounter between the B teams of Barcelona and Real Madrid has been given a prime kick-off slot.
Following Real Madrid Castilla’s promotion to La Segunda Division last season, the 2012-13 term will see them meet Barcelona B for the first time since 1996-97 in Segunda B.
The fixture draw has pitted the first game between the two as being as early as Week 2, with Castilla playing host. It has now been confirmed that the game has been moved to the Saturday night, August 25, for a 9pm local time kick-off, so as to catch the television audience.
That same weekend will see the club’s senior sides play their Primera Division fixtures on the Sunday evening.
