Victor Valdes believes former Barcelona striker Ronaldinho is better than Lionel Messi.
The Barca goalkeeper was speaking to Terra TV and insisted the 32-year-old, who is currently back in his native Brazil with Atletico Mineiro, was the ´biggest talent` he had witnessed at the Camp Nou.
“I always say that 'Rony' changed the history of this club when he played for Barca because he was the leader of our team,” said Valdes.
“We had not won a trophy for many years before he arrived and he powered Barcelona to become a club known throughout the world.
“That alone is a reason to thank him and I would say he is the biggest talent I have seen in our dressing room. He was always doing new things.”
Ronaldinho joined Barcelona from Paris Saint-Germain in 2003 and went on to claim two La Liga titles, one Champions League and also won the FIFA World Player of the Year award twice and the Ballon d’Or.
