Real Betis hold an option to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez on a permanent deal for €9m this summer, say El Confidencial.
The former Real Madrid player joined Los Verdiblancos on a long deal until the end of the season in January and last Sunday netted the winning goal at Celta Vigo.
The 25-year-old’s career has badly stalled since joining the Parisian club in 2016 from Madrid, as he barely played before loan spells at Las Palmas and Stoke City.
The report claims Betis are fully aware of issues the player has previously had off the pitch but are hugely impressed by his drive and motivation since moving to Seville.
Jese is under instruction not to give any media interviews and to focus solely on his football, but he is thought to be open to a permanent move to Betis this summer.
