Betis line-up €16m Ceballos deal

Real Betis are growing hopeful of resigning midfielder Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid this summer in a €16m deal, say reports in the Spanish press.

Los Verdiblancos are said to be readying a bid which would equal the amount which the European champions paid for the Spain Under-21 international last summer.

A report in Diario AS outlines Madrid are open to a deal which would allow them an option to buy back the midfielder, in a similar fashion to those they previously had for Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Morata.

Ceballos has started only three La Liga matches this season for Los Blancos and has been growing increasingly frustrated by a lack of playing time, says the report.

Betis tried to resign the midfielder on loan in January but Spanish FA rules blocked the move due to the fact he had changed registeration within the top flight that season.
