Las Palmas in late Jese swoop?

Las Palmas still retain hope of a deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez this month, according to reports in Spain.

Cadena Ser show El Larguero report the club from the Gran Canaries have upped their offer for the 23-year-old, who has reportedly told the Parisian club that Las Palmas – his boyhood club – are his preferred destination.

There has been interest in the former Real Madrid attacker from England and Italy, with Middlesbrough, Liverpool and AC Milan all reportedly interested, where PSG would rather he moved to due to economic reasons but which now appears unlikely.

Any deal would be a temporary move until the end of the season although the report states the player may then reassess his options in summer.

Jese has scored twice in 14 appearances in the French capital but has failed to settle at Unai Emery’s side since his €25m summer move from the Bernabeu.
