Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is 'ready for changes' but also clarified he has not started planning his next career move.
Simeone reduced his contract at the club last month by two years meaning that it would expire in 2018, inevitably fuelling speculation that he is thinking about moving on in his career.
"It is better to prepare for the present – that is the best road to progress," said the Argentine coach in an interview with Marca.
"In the future there will be new things, and we must be ready for when they arrive. But not leaving aside the present makes you strong and secure, knowing that we must all innovate.
"It is a challenge for all of us, for new things to come, and make us stronger. You have to be ready for changes."
Simeone has been linked with a move to Inter Milan – where he spent two years as a player – while he has also been linked to take over as Argentine national team manager.
