West Ham latest Nolito suitor

West Ham United are the latest team to be tracking Celta Vigo midfielder Nolito and are considering a €10m bid for the Spain international.

Hammers’ boss Slavan Bilic is keen to land the former Barcelona and Benfica man, who helped himself to 12 goals in 26 La Liga games last season, while the 29-year-old has also been linked with a number of clubs in the past few months, including Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Nolito has admitted talks with Celta over a new deal have hit a stumbling block recently and, according to reports in England, the Premier League club are ready to step in with a lucrative offer should he decide to depart Balaidos.

The Cadiz-born player can operate as a winger or forward and has particularly impressed in Spain´s build-up to Euro 2016, although he remains coy over any possible transfer, at least until after the tournament in France has ended.

“I remain relaxed and am only thinking about the European Championship finals,” Nolito told Sport.

“I don´t usually read what is said about me so I can then concentrate on other things, yet I neither dislike or like reports of a move to Barcelona.

“That said, I´m happy at Celta and have a three-year contract which contains a buy-out clause.

“Whichever club is interested in me, they know what to do. Even so, I´m really enjoying my time here.”
