Spain strolled past South Korea in their penultimate pre-Euro 2016 friendly, Nolito and Alvaro Morata each scoring twice.
Silva started it with a stunning free-kick, then Cesc made it two within a few minutes before Nolito finished coolly, all in the first half.
Morata got in on the act early in the second, having twice been denied by the assistant referee’s flag, Nolito getting his second before the hour mark, Ju Se-Jong getting a late consolation and Morata finishing off the scoring.
Vicente del Bosque named a strong side the day after confirming his 23-man squad for Euro 2016, though without Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid’s Champions League Final players, while South Korea included Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min.
Both sides enjoyed spells of possession, but Spain didn’t create a lot though when South Korea’s chances came, they were as a result of La Roja turning over possession in dangerous areas.
Andres Iniesta was the first to test Kim Jin-hyeon in the Korean goal and a Jang Hyon-soo block was needed to prevent another shot on goal, before an offside flag saw Morata’s goal ruled out.
Korea worked some promising positions, from set-pieces and open play, but didn’t make the most of them, Hector Bellerin doing better after he was slipped in on the overlap, drawing a save from Kim.
Kim had no chance when Silva stepped up on the half-hour, the Manchester City midfielder finding the postage stamp with a devilish dead ball, and moments later Kim got himself in a muddle with Morata in attendance and Cesc took advantage.
It was more of the same before half time as Kim’s positioning after Nolito latched on to a Cesar Azpilicueta pass made it easy for the Celta Vigo forward.
Morata had a similarly easy time getting his first, Spain’s fourth, as Kim came for Thiago Alcantara’s corner but behind the Juventus striker, and Bellerin’s excellent work down the right was finished off by Nolito for his second and Spain’s fifth.
Iker Casillas, winning his 167th cap, was woken from his slumber when he had to save a shot that deflected off Marc Bartra, and made a handful of other stops that belied his years before giving way to debutant Sergio Rico.
Rico conceded in his brief appearance, a deflection on Ju’s shot beating the Sevilla man shortly before Morata wrapped up the goals, but there was greater concern as Gerard Pique hobbled off and Marc Bartra appearing in a little discomfort as well.
But Spain were comfortable throughout, and the likes of Bellerin, Bruno Soriano and Nolito made strong cases for inclusion when the competitive games begin.
