Inter to break the bank for Cholo?

Inter will reportedly do whatever it takes financially to get Diego Simeone from Atletico Madrid unless Roberto Mancini wins the League.

Simeone played for Inter between 1997 and 1999, leaving Vicente Calderon for San Siro, and returned to Atletico as trainer in 2011.

In that time Cholo has won the Copa del Rey, Primera title and Europa League and reached the Champions League final.

AS cites Quotidiano Sportivo, an Italian publication, as saying Inter will throw everything they can at Simeone, who, it’s noted, has suggested before that he would like to return there as coach one day.

Simeone has a contract to 2020 with Atletico, though, and has also insisted he doesn’t see his future away from the capital, even rejecting the Argentina national team to stay with Los Colchoneros.
