Rui Vitoria revelled in Benfica’s win over Atletico Madrid, saying ‘it tastes great…it’s very hard to play here.’
The Portuguese came from behind to win at Vicente Calderon and afterwards the Coach was clear in his delight at the victory.
“It was an extremely difficult game against a very strong team. Two years ago they were in the Champions League final,” he noted, AS reports.
“The first thing to do was recognise that. From there the dedication, involvement and motivation of the players has delivered the victory.
“The victory tastes great, it’s very hard to play here. Very few teams recently have managed to take a positive result.
“We had to suffer but the worst thing we could do now is rely on having six points. There’s still a lot of work to do”
