Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed speculation Isco is unhappy at Real Madrid, or that he is unhappy with Isco.
It was reported that Isco and Ancelotti had a falling-out after the Spain international was benched upon the return to fitness of Luka Modric and James Rodriguez.
Ancelotti however stressed Isco understands the situation at Santiago Bernabeu and, having played more this season than he did last season, is clearly important to the team.
“Isco doesn’t think he’s lost his place. He played in the previous League game,” Ancelotti explained at a Press conference prior to the visit of Isco’s former team Malaga.
“There is no match more or less important. They’re all important. He’s fresh and fit, like the others, and I can use him at any time. He is happy and so are we.
“He has played with more regularity and continuity than last year. It seems that he’s lost quality for not having played a game. He has great quality and is fundamental.”
