Isco & Ancelotti in clear-the-air talks?

It’s reported that Isco and Carlo Ancelotti had a falling out in recent weeks, but the pair have talked in an attempt to clear the air.

Marca claims that Isco left Ancelotti unimpressed with his attitude even prior to Luka Modric returning to fitness, and that was as much a factor as anything in Isco dropping out the XI.

Ancelotti also wanted Isco to not hold on to the ball as long, but rather keep the ball moving, which is counterintuitive for the former Malaga playmaker.

The Coach does though understand Isco feels like he isn’t a valued member of the squad and was only filling in until Modric and James Rodriguez returned.

Isco expected to play against Rayo Vallecano, however, and when he wasn’t picked, made his unhappiness known.

Ancelotti and Isco then discussed the situation as Ancelotti still counts on Isco for the rest of the season, with the League and Champions League still to play for.

Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo have also tried to keep Isco on track as they recognise the importance of a harmonious squad.
