Valencia Coach Nuno Santo is targeting three points against Villarreal and nothing more, stressing the importance of the victory.
Los Che go into the game needing the win to leapfrog champions Atletico Madrid, who went third by beating Cordoba on Saturday.
Nuno told his pre-match Press conference that winning at Mestalla was everything, but acknowledged it wouldn’t come easy.
“I look at the game and we are focused on competing as we have done so far,” he said, AS reports.
“It’s an important game, a must-win, and three points is the only goal.
“The match will be very complicated, that’s for sure, although we are very confident in ourselves and the work we’ve been doing and that gives us confidence.
“Villarreal are a good team with players of quality but we are ready.”
