Line-ups: Man City-Barca

Barcelona return to Champions League action with a strong line-up for the first leg of their tie against Premier League champions Manchester City.

Luis Enrique keeps faith with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, the German goalkeeper who has started all of La Blaugrana’s European games, as Claudio Bravo takes the gloves in the League.

Ahead of Ter Stegen are Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano and Jordi Alba, with Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic in midfield.

The front three is made up of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, Suarez playing his first game on English soil since leaving Liverpool for Barca in the summer of 2014.

City go with Joe Hart in goal and a back four of Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany, Martin Demichelis and Gael Clichy.

Fernando, James Milner, Samir Nasri and David Silva make up the midfield, with former Barca man Yaya Toure serving a suspension left over from the group stage.

Sergio Aguero leads the City attack, partnered by Edin Dzeko.

The sides met at the same stage last year with Barca, under Tata Martino, claiming a 2-0 win at the Etihad Stadium.

Messi converted a penalty after he was fouled by Demichelis, who saw red for the infringement, before Alves added a second.

The same players scored in the return at Camp Nou, where Vincent Kompany was also on target in a 4-1 Barca aggregate win.
