Cordoba Coach Miroslav Djukic believes the victory over Granada will give his side more confidence for the rest of the season.
Nabil Ghilas and Florin Andone scored as Los Califas dispatched a relegation rival and, speaking after the match, Djukic predicted an immense positive effect on his team.
“The result will give us more confidence. I’m very happy with the group effort and the good game in general,” he said, according to Marca.
“We worked well and with intensity. We won and therefore I congratulate the players. Our work hadn’t been rewarded and the players needed results. If you don’t win then the words of the Coach lose their force.
“The attitude we showed can beat anyone and that is very important.”
