Miroslav Djukic has been impressed by the attitude of the Cordoba players and wants to take it into the game against Elche.
Djukic oversaw a Cordoba win against Malaga in a friendly during the international break and called for his squad to maintain that form as competitive action returns.
“We shouldn’t obsess about relegation. I was very pleased with the attitude of the team in attack and defence in the Malaga friendly,” he said, AS reports.
“We’re very solid and putting together concepts. We will go to every game wanting to win.
“We really are a team that knows when to tighten up and we know what we want in defence and attack.
“That’s what I want from my Cordoba. We might lose games being ourselves, but we will be ourselves, with our ideas and a defined style. We can’t be afraid of anyone.”
