Paco Alcacer has told a gathering of Valencia fans he is one of them and intends to stay at the club for the long-term.
AS reports the striker attending an event for supporters, with sporting director Rufete, and when asked about his future, Alcacer insisted it was at Mestalla.
“I’m from Valencia and I want to stay here,” the Spain international replied.
Rufete then added that the process of renewing Alcacer’s contract was being hurriedly moved along and could be settled in the very near future.
Alcacer also thanked the Valencia fans for their backing, crediting them with him winning a place in Vicente Del Bosque’s Spain squad.
