Sevilla Coach Unai Emery believes Sunday’s game against Villarreal is Los Rojiblancos’ most important of the season so far.
Emery told his pre-match Press conference that Sevilla and the Yellow Submarine are rivals for League positions and he is eager to see how his team do against a direct rival.
“It’s the most important game of the season so far,” he said, AS reports.
“It’s a unique moment and a very good opportunity because it’s a challenge to measure ourselves against a direct rival and to make us stronger.
“We’re going to see the capabilities of each team and I expect a very motivated Villarreal because of their past, with Marcelino and [Denis] Cheryshev, who was here last year.
“Villarreal are a direct rival with clear arguments for winning. It’s an attractive game for the fans who have to see it as a very important game.
“We have to do our best and give our all for everyone in the stadium.”
